Collapsible Reflector Antennas
The CPRA-118 series antennas are extremely broadband (1-18GHz) reflector antennas with different feed options and reflector types.
- CPRA-118/A series antennas: These antennas are made using a reflector assembled from aluminum Panels.
- CPRA-118/C series antennas: These models use a lightweight composite material for parabolic reflector panels.
The CPDA-0140 series of antennas include five choices for reflector sizes and over 50 choices for feeds which are interchangeable and mount on the same mounting plate. Feed choices include linearly polarized, dual linear, dual circular, and switchable polarization (Horizonta, Vertical, RHCP, and LHCP) feeds in various frequency bands from 1.5 to 31 GHz, and linearly polarized high power feeds in various bands from 0.75 GHz to 40 GHz. Lightweight composite material reflectors are used for CPDA-0140 antennas designed for commercial news gathering, signal monitoring, tactical and military applications.
All CPRA and CPDA series collapsible parabolic reflector antennas offer a practical approach to high-gain and narrow-beam antennas for tactical applications. For standard CPRA and CPDA models, the dish, the feed and support break into components which fit in a standard carrying case. All collapsible reflector antennas have captive fasteners, quick release hardware and accurate reflector panels, and are precision aligned under real life conditions. No additional tools are required for quick reassembly.
These antennas may be mounted on vehicles, telescopic masts, tripods or on ARA’s unique knockdown tetrahedral mounts. Special mounting brackets and plates for attaching a telescopic mast to the wall or to the back of a truck are available on request.
The CPDA series antenna cover waveguide or smaller bands, optimized for satellite, radar, broadcast, news gathering and other commercial or military applications.
The CPRA series antennas are broadband, covering multioctave band, instantaneously, with a single feed.
