The BSB-218-1S is a broadband slant-linear-polarized biconical antenna designed to operate over the frequency range of 2.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz. The E-field polarization direction is converted from vertical to 45° slant with minimal loss. The slant linear polarization makes the antenna suitable for receiving vertical, horizontal, circularly-polarized, and elliptical-polarized signals. The BSB-218-1S consists of two separate antennas: a low band BSB-26 covering the 2.0 GHz to 6.0 GHz range, and a high band BSB-618 covering the 6.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz range. The high band and low band are combined into a single output by means of an internal diplexer.
