Toby Hess Joins Antenna Research Associates as Vice President, RADAR and Electronic Warfare
Experienced leader in SIGINT and Multi-Functional Airborne and Radar Systems joins ARA to drive company’s EW technology and meet the evolving needs of the defense community
Laurel, MD…Antenna Research Associates (ARA) is pleased to welcome Toby Hess as Vice President of Radar and Electronic Warfare.
Hess brings more than 25 years of experience in business development, program leadership and senior management to this position, having worked for several of the country’s major defense contractors in roles of increasing responsibility driving innovation and growth.

Prior to joining ARA, Hess served as Vice President of the RADAR Division at Aerostar LLC where he was responsible for overseeing a $30 million business line. Previously, he held top positions managing programs and pipelines worth more than $1 billion and delivering cutting-edge technologies for military applications at Mercury Systems, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman.
He holds an MS in Management from John’s Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University.
