Our super compact Taranis AutoAQYR™ (auto-acquire) SATCOM terminal provides Commercial and Government users high speed Broadband Connectivity in a small, efficient terminal package. The Taranis is easy to set-up and operate with a highly efficient dual optics reflector, Gregorian antenna design. This 65 cm Taranis, named after the Celtic Sky and Thunder God, is perfect for operations in remote locations, where small size and light weight are important, or on high throughput beams, which maximize the efficiency of smaller antennas. It is available for use on Viasats HighCapacity Network. The Taranis is comprised of a 65 cm Gregorian dual optics antenna, auto positioner, and integrated RF components. These terminals are configured to fit in a single case, Terminal setup is seconds, satellite acquisition is less than 3 minutes. A robust ruggedized design, this highly capable terminal is comparable to a 75 cm equivalent and is perfect for operations in harsh conditions, supporting multiple configuration options to suit user needs.
